A website for ALL runners!

Training schedules can be as diverse as the individual runners that
use them. The best training schedule is the one that fits your
physical capabilities, personal schedule, lifestyle, and running
goals. AverageRunner.com believes in presenting runners with a
multitude of options when it comes to training, instead of subjecting
everyone to our version of the best training schedules.
To assist with finding the perfect schedule, we have compiled a list
of training programs and included summaries and links to various
websites that offer training tips, schedules, and professional
advice.
The training schedules are organized by race type (from “Getting
Started” to “Marathon”) and can be found by using the drop down
menu on the left side of the page. Most of the schedules are
organized by skill level – NOVICE, INTERMEDIATE, and ADVANCED.
Please remember to consult a physician before beginning any
exercise program.
We are more than happy to post additional training schedules that
are submitted by individuals, running clubs, organizations,
professional runners, Oprah, or anyone else that would like to share
information with fellow runners. To submit a training schedule,
please send an email to info@averagerunner.com and include your
name, email address, company/organization name (if applicable),
website address and/or a link to the training schedule that you are
submitting. All submissions must be approved by
AverageRunner.com before being posted to our website.
